About Drawtopia

Drawtopia is for every child with a story worth telling.

A child draws a hero. We turn it into a real, personalized storybook where that hero, and that child, take the lead. This is who we are, what we are building toward, and the story of how it started.

How every Drawtopia book begins: a drawing leaves the page, and the hero in it steps into a real story.
01 · Our Story

It started with an octopus

Drawtopia did not begin in a boardroom. It began at home, at the kitchen table, with a drawing of an octopus. It was the first animal one of our kids ever drew on purpose: eight wavy arms, a big round head, and a smile that took up half the page. Like most drawings in our house, it ended up stuck to the fridge.

“Can my drawing become a real story?”

The question that started Drawtopia, asked about that octopus

We did not know the answer. So we found out. That octopus became the first Drawtopia hero, and the drawing on the fridge became a real storybook, with the same wavy arms and the same smile on every page. Watching a child open a book and find their own drawing looking back at them, as the hero, is a moment we have never gotten over. We built Drawtopia so other families could have it too.

Drawtopia is a family company, built by parents for their own kids, and for every family who has ever had a drawing stuck to the fridge and thought: this deserves to be something special.

That is still the whole idea. Whatever a child draws, a hero, a creature, an octopus with a smile too big for its face, we keep it at the center, build a world around it, and hand it back as a book a family can keep.

The first Drawtopia hero was an octopus: drawn in crayon, stuck to the fridge, then swimming through its own book. Recreated here in Drawtopia's 3D style.

A Family Company

Built by parents, for our own kids first

Drawtopia is a small, independent, family-run company. No big publisher, no generic templates. Just parents who watched their own kids light up at a book starring their own drawing, and decided every family deserved that moment.

02 · Vision & Mission

Creators, not consumers

For a century, children's storytelling ran one way: a studio made the story, and the child watched, read, or played along. We are building the version where the child helps make it.

Our Vision

To be the storytelling house of the next generation, where children are the heroes and the creators of the worlds they love.

Books today. Other formats later. The promise stays the same whatever we make next: your child steps out of the audience and into the story.

Our Mission

Give every child the power to create the stories they love, not just consume them.

That means starting from what the child brings us, a drawing, an idea, a name, a made-up creature, and never replacing it with something more convenient of ours.

Our test for everything we ship: if it leaves the child a passive consumer, it fails. If it lets the child shape the story, it passes.

03 · Our Values

What we hold to, on every page

Four values guide every book, every feature, and every decision in between.

VALUE 01

The child is the hero

Their character, their world, their story. We never replace the child's idea with ours.

VALUE 02

Every child is an artist

No skill threshold. A scribble counts. So does an idea, a name, or a made-up creature.

VALUE 03

Magic and wonder, plainly told

Every child should feel a gasp of wonder, and every parent reading aloud should never stumble. Magic belongs in the story, not in confusing sentences.

VALUE 04

Earn the parent's trust

A parent is handing us something their child made. We treat it that way.

04 · The Drawtopia Formula

3 worlds. 3 ages. 3 styles. 1 hero.

Every Drawtopia book is built from the same simple recipe, and one ingredient never changes: the hero is your child.

05 · Where the Stories Live

One brave story, three worlds

Our first theme is Courage: learning to go back toward the thing that matters, even while you are still scared. The same story is told three ways, so a child can meet it under the trees, under the sea, or among the stars.

One continuous storybook panorama flowing through all three Drawtopia worlds with the same small hero in a teal cloak in each: the Enchanted Forest with its lantern-lit great tree melts into the Underwater Kingdom with its glowing anemone, turtle, and seahorses, which rises into Outer Space, where the hero reaches for a glowing crystal in a rocky hollow
One story, flowing world to world: forest into sea, sea into stars.

The Enchanted Forest

With Fern the Fox

Where it all began. A great tree is losing its light, and only a hero who turns back can help it hold on.

The Underwater Kingdom

With Coral the Dolphin

At the bottom of a deep trench, a single anemone gives the whole kingdom its light, and it is going dark.

Outer Space

With Nova the Robot

In a quiet hollow between the stars, a crystal that lights the way home is fading, and someone small must return to it.

Live now: all three worlds, in all three styles and reading ages, are available today at drawtopia.ai and in the app.

Theirs. Brave. Boundless.

Theirs: it begins with the child's own idea.

Brave: courage is the hero's quality, and our first book's theme.

Boundless: the worlds, and the wonder, have no ceiling.
